i primarily had corsair xms2 2 x 1 gb kit, which did 5-5-5-15 @ 1.9v

i tighted the timing to run it on 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1v, it worked fine.....
recently i shifted to corsair xms2 2 x 2 gb kit which did 5-5-5-18 @ 1.8v
but tighting the timming , i was not able to make it run at 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1v , the computer wont post :(

currently running it at 5-5-5-15 @ 19v

has nyone having the same kit run it on tighter timmings??
please help ..................

You can't tighten the timings because the memory is more dense go for 4-4-4-15.

Each RAM stick isn't the same you know.

Hi

Dunno if it will work for you or not, but it did for me on my DHX kit.

See if this option is there in your BIOS. MCH voltage. Make it 1.25V from Auto. ALso make sure you enter all the voltage and timings manually.

Lemme know if it works

I've got those rams to run at 920Mhz @ 5-5-5-15 with 1.92V..

(Proc: E7200 @ 3.27Ghz, FSB:DRAM (Linked) - 3:4)
