Am I overlooking something !

XMS 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz is like 1600~1700 in the market and this is DDR3 1333Mhz.

I hope OP knows that Gskill Sniper 4GB x 2 1600Mhz DDR3 1.25V sold for around Rs 2800 from Prime ABGB. With lifetime local warranty.

This is w/o local warranty, used, slower (1333Mhz), takes more volts.

Leave alone 3.5k....even 2.5k will be a bit optimistic with current RAM prices.

So its a typo :P

^ typo :P

I know ram prices very well. bought 4 packs of those snipers from Prime. 1.25 volt rams ain't compatible with every motherboard,btw. Also there's no comparison between a one day offer from PRime and actual market prices.

Current price is 3k if you buy from Prime shop directly....Rs 3050 in their online shop.

Gskill SNIPER F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2

And the compatibility list is quite good for those RAMS.Its there in the link. Also they run fine on any mobo as long as you feed them 1.5V. Lifetime warranty, 1600Mhz DDR3, nice HS on them :P....for me at least trying to save Rs 500 doesn't make any sense w/o any warranty.

@ Sushant ---They should run fine @ 1333 Mhz if not at 1.5V...at 1.65V for sure :P...usually have Powerchips(PSC) on them.

Actually I currently have OCZ CAS 7, 1.65V 4GB RAM on my machine. If I buy these, I'll have to let you the CAS7 thing. Would have to run them at CAS9. So just wondering if I can run all to them at CAS7 instead.

@supra

yeah. except that these corsairs also cost about the same if i am not wrong.

you can purchase G-Skills if you find these expensive. ain't forcing anyone, but i have no plans to sell it for anything below 2.5k.

@sushant,

its CAS9. i have no idea if they run at 7, but i am pretty sure they should. i stopped OCing/tweaking with rams. do me no good.

rams sold outside TE. mods can lock the thread :)

^^ But you are selling w/o any warranty or bill here ! Also the cost of RS 3000 is for 1600Mhz XMS3 , 1333Mhz ones are much cheaper and usually ppl will go for Transcend/Corsair value 4GB sticks when they go for 1333Mhz. And those cost Rs 1200 a piece for 4GB. And I hope u dont post back after 2-3 days telling price drop...now 2200 shipped :)

So Rs 500 discount for no warranty, sparingly used RAM, slower 1333Mhz, no bill/box.Of course you are not forcing anyone...but I dont see any point. Anyone will be better off buying Corsair Value 2 X 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz at Rs 2500 with sealed box with bill and 10 years warranty. Its like selling a unused motorola Defy for 12k (bought 6 mnths back from US) when locally its available with warranty for 13.5~14k :P...I am sure u wont take it :D

Get the Ripjaws CL9 at 3k ....they usually do even 1400~1500Mhz CL7 at 1.65V :P

or maybe 3 days later i won't sell em because i already ordered a new board and will probably keep these sticks if my Phenom is not sold?

those kingstons and transcends are value rams. you can purchase Strontiums for a 1000 each i think. just because a motorola Defy sells for 12k , does it mean someone has to price a Galaxy S for the same ?

now. enough comparison. like i said earlier, buy whatever you want.
