Cost of crimping tool

I got a crimper for around 300/- It does RJ45 as well as the jacks for phone lines (don't know what they're called :P)

hey where in Mumbai did u get it frm?
I want one ASAP......is it readily available in Lamington?
 
ya they are easily available there.. just mention that u wanna buy a crimping tool... buy the 1 that has both RJ 45 and RJ11 punching ability..
 
Get the DLink ones, dont get those cheap 100 Rs. ones. Dlink ones would set you back by 400-450 odd - no idea about current prices but they shld be around that. I went in for a cheap one couple of years back and it got f'ed up during my secord crimping attempt itself.
 
I borrowed one from my local cybercafe.

In pune techcom crimpers are for 350. Had no idea that crimping tools are so expensive.

thnx man ...will head to lamington this weekend and get the DLink one :)
