Cost of iPod nano in India?

A friend is going to Singapore. Is it worth it getting it from there? It's abt 1k more expensive than the US prices.

What are the current prices in India?

Need help urgently as my friend is leaving tomorrow.

i guess if you look at the indian Grey market, you can get it for more or less the same as american price

also, the warranty with those wont be an issue as they use serial numbers for that (as far as i know )

By 3G i meant the 3rd Generation Nano and not the newly released one (4th gen).
