A friend wants to get a website made for his business. What is the approx cost for a front page with slider info about the types of business activities (4-5) leading to their separate pages, About, team and pricing pages.

Also what would be the additional cost for -
* Social media integration.
* SEO for the website.
* Hosting and domain.

Also whats the going rate if he wants to get the logo designed.

Any other pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks.

How can we roughly estimate the cost for Everything. I can make a Mere guess.
4-5 pages Shouldn't cost your friends more than 5k that too on HTML.

Social Media Integration - Shouldn't Cost much. Website developer can do it.
SEO - It's something which Just be anything. It's hard to estimate what will the actual cost. If the Designer is Expert in SEO, He might charge according to his Experience. I have seen people doing it for $10 and even for $1200.

But Trust me Cheap Seo plans doesn't work out.

Hosting and domain- Domain can be bought from Bigrock or mitsu. If you want to spend a bit more Godaddy(No hosting from them please) or namecheap.
Hosting can be purchased from Hostdime.in, hostgator.in For Indian Traffic. (or) Hawkhost, Stablehost or Hostgator US( If you're lucky enough to Get that old support, the company has been sold to a Worst Group called a EIG which only cares about money not their customers)

Just like SwatKats said, don't bother with SEO if you're going to cheap out on it.
If you are planning to go the SEO way, make sure you have enough of a budget to hire someone who knows what he is doing.
THe results are what matter, not the amount of work done...as far as SEO is concerned.
For example, someone who knows what he's doing will get your website ranking for it's top keywords in a couple of months while someone who doesn't know S&^T will probably charge you every month for hundreds of links that he'll keep building without you making any money off it.

Ultimately what matters is how much money you can make off the SEO campaign. It's all about the ROI!
