Please don't purchase any item from Cost to Cost they are selling fake(unwarranted) items. They are not providing any warranty even you have the genuine bill
I purchased a SEGATE 500 GB hard disk of 5-year warranty in 2009
from COST TO COST, NEHRU PLACE they provided me bill for the same
After one year I got some issue and hard disk was not getting detected on my PC so
I went to SEAGATE Accel frontline service center Nehru Place for repair because
Hard disk is in under warranty but after one month when I revisited
Service center they told that this hard disk is branded and "NOT VALID
INDIA DRIVE" and Suggested to go back to seller and ask to exchange it.
When I went back to COST-to-COST they checked hard disk and replied that when you purchased this disk that time company provided warranty but now this hard disk is not in warranty(Once they replaced this Hard disk with another hard disk but that was also faulty and different serial number than Bill). Even Seagate website is showing it is still in warranty. In any case they are not agree to take it back, exchange it or repair it.
