I am having all kind of problem & don't know where to look for the solution
I suspect seagate 1.5TB disk though my disk was not listed in the bad serials, but it could be possible.
I write a dvd & till 3 mins nero wont proceed stuck at 1% then after 3 mins it starts & works normally.
It could be mobo problem too (2 yr old asus P5b dlx) I changed the sata port but that too did not solve this issue.
The samsung DVD writer is 2 month old & was working fine till I started having all these problems.
