Hello , i have airtel 2mbps connection , wifi shared with 6 ppl,
when the net is full free , i mean no downloaing is going on i get nice pings 50-60 .
but if someone starts downloading my ping goes bounces to 200 , etc .
even if we download @ 50-60 KB/s and rest 140 KB/s is unused , i get ping bounces .
but if no one downloading anything i get constant pings .
so is there a way to stop my ping bounce , it seems my wifi router is doing this to me .
i have heard of QoS where i can give priority to some ports like 270015 which is used by counter strike , so that my ping wont bounce ..it totally depends upon wifi router to bounce my ping or not since isp is giving me ping when no one is using the connection , earlier when i had 1mbps connection and lan router i wont got these problems even if someone downloaded at full speed , it seems this new wifi router is the verdict . Help me guys .
so what settings should be done in QOS to prioritize my counter strike 1.6 .
