PC Peripherals Counterfeit Transcends??

Here's a article abt Fake Transcends.. Doesnt explicitly refer to DDR RAM but when RAM is selling in India for teh EXACT same U.S price,try to be a little cynical abt the Originality of it...
 
I have also heard abt fake Transcends floating in the market. It is a wide spread news. People are more careful now. And many people are just saying.....to hell with Transcend and going for Corsair or Hynix.
 
yeah man, its known.
Those loose sticks costs a lot less. And this well may be the reason why.
I went for packed one, paid good Rs.3300 for it when loose one was little cheaper.
To be honest you are beter off finding d43 insted.
 
have seen the counterfeit transcend ones ...... one of the major distinguishing factor is the 3d sticker ....the original one has a clear well defined 3d sticker as compared to the fake which looks a lot hazy ....
 
Well the very same reasone i went for the packed/sealed pieces... costed me a lot though... 3800 per 512 MB piece... Though now my dealer said that he will have twin mos soon and that too cheap...

Is it twinmos speed premium? The TM400 II RAMS? Those are bombshells! They are untested winbond UTT chips. With the right voltage(3.4-3.5V), they'll end up doing 250@2-2-2 :D. All you need then is a ddr booster ;)
