Is it possible for the agency owner to organize/hold some training or internship program for college student? Everyone in the college seems to be using some or the other kind of 'source' to get certificates and so I was wondering if I could get something similar help from my cousin's car agency? He has no trouble, he said he would be grateful if he could help in any way but I have no idea what kind of help can I ask him from as a college student

I don't know whether its even possible or not to go for training in a car agency (or is it workshop where its possible??)

First of all, let me comprehend your post very briefly. You want to know whether it is possible to get a trainee/internship certificate from your brother's car dealership, right?

If the above is your question than you need to tell us what kind of course you are doing and what are the requirements of your training assignment? If you are pursuing a relevant degree, I don't think why working in a car dealership could be an issue. You'd be in sales and that is good enough. Though I am not sure what certificate can he provide you other than proof of employment.

Well, actually yes. Not just the certificate but I actually go there for training/work/intern.

Course is engineering from Applied Physics. All I know as of now is that the students are required to go for a 'Summer training'. They didn't said anything about the requirements or anything. I ain't sure at all, what in training do one has to do and hence not sure if it can be done in the car dealership or not.

#Cloud-S I don't think it will be at all wise to do that kind of internship/training if you are pursuing 'Applied Physics'. Ideally, you should be doing something related to your field and not join any firm just for the sake of getting a certificate. Working at your brother's dealership maybe the easy way out but I am sure you will have trouble explaining your choice to your professors. You should definitely look at other options for your internship.

So you are saying that the place/company from where I get the training depends directly on the field. OK....

Actually, a few people went to some market research company or something for the internship so I thought the company didn't mattered at all. Thanks for your answer. I will look something related to the field.

#Cloud-S will you be marked or tested on the internship or training that you undertake? If so, it is wise to choose a relevant company or firm. Also, it is better to leave an impression on your lecturers/professors that you are serious about your field of specialization and are not only looking for ways to scrape through a subject. That is the whole logic behind an internship. Even if you choose a market research company, you should be able to justify your decision. Hopefully, this helped.

wow you are studying applied physics and dont know what is for summer training intern ???? , absolutely amazing
