I wanna upgrade my desktop PC.
My current config:
CPU-AMD 3000+
MOB-A8V-VM
RAM-1 Gb DDR(400 Mhz)
GPU-PALIT 9600GT
SMPS-VX 550W

I want to go with Intel cpu and my budget is around 10k/15k for CPU & MOB.
Please suggest any mob & cpu for both the budget.

Thanks in advance.

Okay what is the use of this RIG, can we know that and do you want to get a new graphics card as well?

Why do you not want an AMD based solution, it will be cheaper and performance will be ~ +/- 10% at this price point.

Actually main usage is gaming..

I am new in TECHENCLAVE.

Please help me.I want to buy used product from here.

Though I don't know too much about these entry level motherboards, however, a glance through the web and here is what I recommend:

MSI H61M-E23 (B3)

3,600.00

OR

Gigabyte GA-H67M-D2-B3 (rev. 1.1) Socket 1155 Rs.5500 (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED)

Intel Core i5-2500 Processor Rs.10250 (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED)

OR

Intel Core i5 Sandy Bridge 2300 CPU Rs.9200

If you buy the Core i5 2500 + Gigabyte H67 mobo, though I recommend 2500k for about 1500 bucks more because that is more overclockable. Anyway, this Core i5 2500 and mobo combo will beat any AMD retail system, no matter what the price, as far as the CPU is concerned, especially for gaming.

No matter how much you OC an AMD, this system can be OCed more and then will definitely beat that system, and perhaps this system will beat most/all AMD systems at stock as well.

However, to fully use such a CPU you need to buy at least a AMD Radeon HD6950 2GB for 16k.

If you can't buy a expensive graphic card, then rather go for a X3/X4 AMD + el cheapo motherboard and get the most expensive graphic card you can buy as chances are that system will be better for gaming!

Athlon II X3 440~ 3300

Asus M4A78LT-M LE ~2600

Kingston 2X2GB ~ 2300

ATI 5770 ~ 7300

This should be within your budget if you sell the 9600GT.IMHO this would do great if your main purpose is gaming.

Nice suggestion.
Kingston 2X2GB ~ 2300 --> I would suggest a single stick Kinston 4GB DDR3 1333MHz ~ 2.1k (Since the mobo has only 2 RAM slots one would be free for future upgrades :))

1. Get DDR3 1600MHz XMS3 or GSkill Ripjaws.

2x2GB DDR3 1600MHz XMS3 is like 2500 bucks.

2. Get 2 modules as then you have dual channel mode enabled!

Thanks for your feedback.

Mob:-Gigabyte GA-H67M-D2-B3

CPU:-Intel Core i5-2500

RAM:-2x2GB DDR3 1600MHz XMS3

Can I buy these for my gaming purpose.

Just one things---

Please help me about ASUS Motherboard, can you refer any mob for this config.

Actually I have a ASUS fever just like my mob -A8N-VM then P5NE-SLI.....

Now in every thread only few people recommended for ASUS mob, is there any strong reason?

Whats your monitor size? Are you planning to upgrade the GPU soon? Else its better to go with iamnew's suggestion. That will give you more gaming power than a CPU+Mobo upgrade.

HIS Radeon HD 5770 1 GB Review - Page 30/34 | techPowerUp

HD5770 is about ~65% more powerful than the 9600GT!

Can I use mac os in those motherboard?

If not then please help me how to use mac os.
For MAC OS you need to buy a Intel Core series processor which will work out very expensive.

I do not recommend Pirating. If that is your idea buzz of, you aren't getting any help here.

better go with the RIG that iamnew suggested, it is balanced and easily satisfy your gaming needs for the next 1.5 yrs, till then save up and get a better RIG then OR for now wait till June, let the AMD FX series processor come out, save up for a whole-scale upgrade and get those components (9** series chipset - AMD FX series processor and other components accordingly). Hope this helps.

1) DA also suggested the same

2) Even a single stick of 4GB 1600 MHz, Corsair XMS 3 ~ 2500/-

3) DA mentioned as the board has only two RAM slots its is better OP goes with single stick of 4 GB now and adds more according to usage later. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/PARALLEL-PROCESSING,1705-11.html

One more help please...

I have decided to buy AMD x6-1090T

Please refer a motherboard with good overclock and single sli feature.

Budget arround for motherboard Rs.5000 to Rs.7000.
