Cpu buying advice

Hi friends ,

help me out in buying CPU

I would be using linux ,oracle on it along with normal PC entertainment operations and gaming minimum level like NFS most wanted ,far cry ....

budget - 9K - 11k ( for processor + mobo + dvd ram+ DDR3 1333 RAM (2gb) +cabinet)

suggestions most welcome
 
What are ur current Specs. Do u have a GPU already? What PSU are u using. Give these details for more specific suggestions taking those into consideration. Where are gonna buy all these?

As of now i would suggest the following,

AMD AthlonII X2 240~2.8k

MSI 785GM-E51 ~ 4.1k

2GB GSkill/Corsair 1333MHz DDR3 ~2.3k

Samsung/Sony OEM/Box DVD~ 1k

Zebronics/Iball generic cabby w/o PSU ~0.7-1k
