tried playing cod and coretemps went up to 58

is it ok???

ie for a new cpu\??

Yep have the same proccy with stock heat sink. Those are the temps I get too, I would only be worried if temps cross 67-68" consistently...

@surfermac , load temperature <60'C is too good, as you are on stock cooler. Its safe don't worry. But temps might elevate during the summer

Thank you guys i just saw those other temp the one at 56 at idle and thought that was the cpu temp
which was going way too high it even went to 115 once so i was a bit worried
now that its clarified i m a bit relieved

just remove the heat sink clean it and clean the paste from cpu as well as from heat sink with something really soft re apply the fresh thermal paste put the heat sink back on and once you put the heat sink back on the cpu no matter what do not pull it back or else you will have to clean the paste again and re apply because if you pull it back and again put it back on it will create a lot of bubbles or air between your cpu and heat sink which can cause high temperature so after putting the heat sink back on the cpu just make sure all the 4 sides are clipped properly. Hope this helps.
