CPU/Mobo CPU+Mobo Config b/w 8k-12k INR

HI,

I plan to purchase a 2nd system for home use-

I purchased my first system in Jan 2005 with an Intel 540J 3.2 GHz and Intel 915 GAV board.(Reasonably happy with it except for the heat)

I've been out of touch and am looking for another CPU+Mobo config in a budget of INR 8000 - 12000.(CPU+MOBO price)
Onboard video on the Mobo is a must. However i do not do any Gaming.(NON GMAING PC)

Please let me know:

1) Of any AMD configuration in the budget above. 2 years ago AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice + MSI Rs480 M2 IL was pretty hot for a value for money config. Not sure what is good these days. Are there any mobo's for AM2 sockets with integrated video.?

2)Intel CPU +MOBO in the price range above. Should i go for the same board and CPU again?

What are the new budget motherboards on the AM2 and LGA 775 platform with integrated video.

Could you please tell me in detail about the name of this ASUS/MSI Mobo and it's price. Also will the mobo have onboard video/VGA.

Lastly does AM2 3800+ support DDR RAM or does the proc work only with DDR2.?
 
AM2 supports only DDr2

I think you should be better off with sct 939 X2 3800+ and ASus A8N-Vm, i think atm the DDR prices are 100 bux more than DDr2 (atleast in chennai).

Edit: Just checked www.deltapage.com, looks like AM2 3800+ is available for 8900, and a board based on nF6100, Asus M2N-MX is available for 4350. I think should be better than 939 setup.

Does this board have onboard Video and onboard sound.
Is the VGA performance comparable to say the intel 915 GAV board or the older MSI rs480M2IL.
