CPU/Mobo CPU + MOBO for window98

Hi,

Looking for CPU + motherboard that will run windows 98 and WindowXP.
Its really urgent , please suggest..

Will Proccy - AMD A6-3500 + Motherboard- Asus F1A75-M - 4500 / Gigabyte GA-A75-D2H ~5500/ work with win98?

Please help
 
@rohan30186 I doubt any current generation hardware will support legacy operating systems as aged as Windows 98. Where will you get the drivers?

If you absolutely want to run Windows 98, look up components from the second-hand hardware [OR ancient P4 systems] in your local PC market.

The system you have mentioned will run Windows XP without a hitch, but I would recommend that you wait for AMD Trinity desktop chips to release in mid-August.

NONE of the current generation products will work with win 98... you should either try a virtualmachine or just get an old P3/P4 from the second hand market.
