CPU/Mobo CPU & RAM for Asus P5NT WS

I have an Asus P5NT WS Hollywood Trio (nVidia 680i LT SLI) MoBo as a spare and I'm planning to build a comp for myself and give my old comp to my brother... I want a Quad Core CPU and 2*2 GB RAM on this MoBo. For the CPU, I have shortlisted the following Intel C2D CPUs according to priority:

  1. Q9300/Q9400/Q9550 (is it compatible to the MoBo?)
  2. Q8200
  3. Q6600/Q6700
  4. E8x00 (If none of the above are feasible)
The CPUs marked Red are not in the list of compatible CPUs on the Asus website (here & here), can they work on the MoBo? So, please tell me which CPU to go with. I want a CPU with the following features:

  1. Compatible with Asus P5NT WS (Don't want to sell this MoBo)
  2. Quad Core (1st priority since I have an Dual Core E6600 already, but an E8x00 will do if satisfies below criteria)
  3. Decent overclocker (Not planning to break the SuperPi Record, but can be overclocked)
  4. At max 15K cost (But priority on lower cost, higher overclockability)
Applications that I use:

  1. Video Editing & Recording for DVD and Full HD Camcorder videos
  2. TV Tuner (viewing & recording)
  3. Games (possibly 1080p in the very near future)
  4. Watching loads of Movies (DVD, 720p, 1080p)
  5. Photoshop, Web surfing, Office work (documents) etc...
For RAM, I have no clue about the 2GB models which are compatible with this MoBo. The 2GB modules are not listed in the Memory QVL on Asus website, just Kingston & Elpida are listed.

I need the following features in the RAM:

  1. 2 sticks of 2 GB
  2. >= 800 MHz DDR2
  3. Preferably CL4
  4. Decent overclocker with heatsinks
I have seen the review of G Skill Pi DDR2 800. Will they work on the MoBo?

Any other alternative to the above options will be welcome...
