About three days ago , I restarted my laptop and it failed to boot. On several repeated attempts to boot, I noticed that there was a point till which it used to boot after which it would just freeze. When I tried to boot in safe mode , the screen always froze when the "CRCDISK.sys" driver would appear on the screen.
I've encountered this problem before on a desktop and had resolved it by changing the primary hard disk to secondary and vice versa.
As of now, I'm totally clueless about how to go about the problem. Please advise.
