i am using creative inspire M2600 from last 1.5 yrs and it was working fine till yesterday when i noticed that one of the speakers is dead, on inspecting i found that its not the speaker but the sub
unit's audio right slot( red colored one) is not giving any sound output and i confirmed this by connecting both the speakers one by one to audio left slot(white color) and confirmed that both the speakers are fine, i opened the sub unit to find that the entire audio left/right slot thing is fused together by some wax like thing and i cant carry out any repairs on it. Any suggestions for this problem? can i get any 1 to 2 connector so that i can connect both the speakers to the same audio left slot?
Check out the pic in the attachment.

^By doing so, you will compromise the audio quality by branching the sound from one of the channels. Not recommended.

You can remove that wax like thing with the application of a little heat. It is essentially a glue which solidifies after cooling which holds the wires in place so that it does not have a play. Try chipping it off with a sharp blade so you may remove and solder the wire. If the 3.5mm jack has issues, buy another one from the local electronics store and replace the jack on the board.

Thanks for the detailed info, i was planning to do as you said but the speakers came back to normal condition just 10 mins back on its own when i moved the sub unit a bit:P i think its better to leave the speakers as it is atleast for now.

^lol good for you! As they say, 'If it works, don't fix it!'. :P

It could be a lose connection with the wire or the jack.
