Audio Creative EP 630 vs Sound Magic PL21 ?

So i need budget IEM with heavy bass to use with my Nokia 5233.
I know that both these IEM's have good bass. So help me choose one. There seems to be lots of failures in Soundmagic these days but the PL11 i got on Nov 09 is still going strong.
Which of the two would be better bet that would last me at least a year and half and bass needs. TIA :)

SOUND MAGIC In ear headphone PL21 | eBay
Creative EP 630 earphone+MFR Warranty+ Sealed Mfr pack | eBay

Budget is Rs.500-700.

The EP 630 costs Rs.585 and the PL21 costs Rs.630 after applying 10% discount coupons in ebay.

^ In that case PL-21 definitely won't do . EP-630 might just cut in . Even EP-630 has similar bass quantity as PL-11 but more of mid-bass.

but wasnt PL21 considered more bassy than a pl11?
So the ep-630 is the best bet in my budget to create mega bass kind of bass in a nokia 5233?
Sorry if i sounded confusing.
Also is the ep 630 sturdy enough to last a year and half. Not very rough usage though.

For the sturdy usage, go for EP630. Both have almost same bass and its not easy to compare. Soundmagic are little low in quality as compared to EP630.

If you are coming from PL11, thn this upgrade doesn't justify your bass needs. But as you are looking for a budget IEM, go for EP630.

BTW: do post the link of ebay from where u are getting these IEM so cheap. Here PL21 is available for 830rs.

Yes go for EP630, they are best in this category. Doing some mod like removing its grill and putting cotton in it will not let PL30 stand in front of it.

so i guess i will order ep630.

@neeraj - i have given both the ebay links in the first post already!

Yeah I checked now. Was using mobile/tapatalk yesterday so might didn't saw those links. Congrats for your purchase :)

I have been using a EP630 with a Nokia 5800XM for the past two years and more. IMHO, the EP630 is one of the best earphones that I have used with this phone (other than the M2). Regarding rough usage, I have used the EP630 while travelling in crowded Mumbai trains and, touchwood, they are still going strong. If you are really looking for a good set of bassy earphones, I don't think you can go wrong with the EP630. Jm2c :)

Can you post the link for EP630 ebay, and also the code , I also want to buy one :)

Errr... Check the first post. I have given both the links. Ebay coupons are account locked. So one's coupon wont work for another person.

Dell also provides EP-630 as an optional accessory for purchase with the laptop. Most of the dell dealers end up with the unsold EP630 costing Rs. 380 +taxes and these can be bought locally from a dell dealer.

I bought one from dell dealer in Delhi for Rs 500 about an year ago.

^But ithink its OEM piece in loose packing and there will be no direct man. warranty from creative IINM.

Nope, they gave small cloth bag containing the earphones sealed in a small plastic bag with a bar code and a sticker of small details.

Dell dealer issued a bill of 500 for the earphones.

The earphones rock with great bass when i plug it into my old W580i with a converter(fast port to 3.5mm jack) Equivalent or even better bass than the HPM-70.

But its not as great as i expected with the Nokia 5233 :( According to GSMarena the 5230 audio quality was very good. So i assumed the 5233 would have the same quality. But disappointed with the output it gives.

P.S: Are the UE 200vi a good deal @ $19.99. Currently on sale. Will pick up if it comes on sale once again on black friday or cyber monday. Will the UE 200vi produce good bass?

What you kidding me? PL-30 is way better than Ep-630. I dunno why, but Ep-630 always felt kind of harsh and unreal.

I have had both. May be that's the way it was for me, I have never liked too much of bass.
