Hi guys,
I want to upgrade from the onboard soundcard (realtek 97 -850) to a stand alone soundcard mainly for games , I have decided to get a x-fi xtreme music card . I wanted to know if its available in India ( in chennai particularly ).

If so how much is the approximate price ?

Btw ,will I see any boost in performance (in terms of fps in games).

Thats a new one, soundcard improving fps in games :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Edit: Ok, i actually thought about it and yes it will. The CPU utlilzation will go down and u will see a slight improvement in fps :D

Nah i doubt it is. The Audigy 2 Series is hardly available so i doubt this will be. Itll be over 10k for sure. Wait for more replies, possibly it is.
 
Was hoping it would be priced somewhere around 6000/- ,

Edit: Was just browsing the net ,seems like razer have lauched a new soundcard ,check it out at www.razerzone.com .

Thats good news as they ship razer products to India.
