Credit Card Problem on XBox Live Marketplace

Today when I tried to buy some MS points from xbox live marketplace, I got an authorization error. I guess it's due to the new restrictions on online transactions through credit cards introduced by RBI. Same issue was present on the xbox.com page also. I'm pretty sure there is no problem with my cards themselves (the issue occured with both my credit cards)

Anyone else having problems making online transactions directly from the xbox ?

yup i'm having the same problem... the card doesn't get authorized cause of the added security of verified by visa...i called up microsoft tech support , they know about this problem and are working on it but they couldn't give a specified date by when it would be fixed...
