Not to be the doomsayer here but if something goes wrong here...Dhoni is sure to get a lot of flak:
1. Why chose defending runs when our bowlers have repeatedly shown they are incapable of doing it. Even a 300+ score is not safe.
2. Why bring in Nehra even when he has not been up to the mark. People have not forgotten his "good length" ball final over against SA. Hopefully he has learnt a thing or two about yorkers from Zaheer.

I don't find fault in India opting to bat first. More than the bowlers inability to defend, it must be the batsmen's ability to crumble under pressure on a big chase that must have prompted Dhoni to opt for batting first. But replacing Ashwin with Nehra is something that he'll need to answer if Nehra performs as usual. Ashwin can bowl tightly even when the pitch is not helpful.
