Have anyone played this game.....
its a complete addiction can't stop playing this game...
it starts exactly after final fantasy 4 left off......also the magic is the best in the entire series :)
its an awsome game one of the best game around
 
just started playing it yesterday night.. i usually hated final fantassy for its crappy turned base combat system.. but now theyve turned it into kind of like a hack and slash type game.. and i simply love it..

An awesome story with some hacking ... best final fantasy so far....
 
yea realtime but there is a twist... the attacks are still based on rolls, and the rolls are transparently shown in the form of a slot-machine graphic on the screen. various combinations of numbers in the slot machine trigger various bonus abiliities. not completely sure how it works tho.
 
God of war : coo is much better than this for sure , had loads of hopes from this

But the fight style is a bit boring and slow.

Playing GOW was much fun than this , but still have just started playing cri core

lets see how it gets as the game progresses , also there a lot of complications

and loads of stuff to read all the time.

quady if u have played final fantasy IV then there is no complication also some part of the game is taking place during the advent children saga which is completely unexpected.
it takes time for ppl who have no followed the series.......
also the game is huge loads of missions
right now i've completed 4% of the game with just 7 hrs of game play and character level 16 good thing though is that there is only 1 character to play with unlike the other series.

also the slot machine thing thats working determines with the DMW.
its the combination of 3 numbers which has atleast one 7 in it
i.e if u get 777 ur level increases
if u get -77 means ur AP and MP has increased
if u get 77- means ur attacks become critical
huge list of combinations are there with seven
also the magic combination is brilliant mixture of potions is the best along with accessories.
Fire+blizzard= thunder
Blizzard+thunder= fire Lvl 9 + increase in AP
and the list goes on

best game ever

can you explain this in a little detail? or point me to a website where i can get this and other info about how it works.

rolf quady its just what i feel.........
i know many ppl will say god of war is better than CC:FF but its the game for me i finished god of war in like 7 hrs was impressed but not as impressed with CC:FF

read through the tutorials properly then u'll understand the DMW funda its simple once u get the hang of it.
as far as site goes i don refer to sites when it comes to FF thats the best part of it
 
The Game is best in Combat System in FF series :D

I have Played FF 11 & 12.....found their Combat system to be boring....

This is awesome.....in terms of Gameplay easy to control characters...

but seriously GOW beats FF7 CC hands down :ohyeah:
 
i wanted to knw something.. i havent played final fantasy 7 .... but ive watched final fantasy7 advent children... is this game related somehow to the story of advent children????
 
Some FF : CC doubts

1.> When in attack mode , are there any keys to activate modulating phase

or its automatic.

2.> When in modulating phase the slot machine is shown , do we have any control or everything is automatic. i mean the combinations that come.

I never place any keys at all.
 
the modulating phase is automatic, there is nothing you can do to trigger it. similarly, there is nothing you can do to affect the counters.

however, once the counters have set, you can get a kind of 'powerup' like power surge, or next attack will take no ap or mp etc. you can accordingly plan the next attack.
 
To get critical hits all the time:

go to back of the enemy and start attack thats the part where no shield or guard is present 1 hit can atleast take around 1000+ hp of the enemy
