Great jojo, i was playing at 1280*720 @ gamer settings, wasn't enjoying the gfx a lot. Really waiting to play it at 1980*1080 @ highest settings :P
Yo reYez, which is the highest setting?

loving the low pings.

It is at best playable on my system on these settings:

1440x900 HardCore

1680x1050 Advanced

Core i7 @ 3.675GHz

4gb

5850 1gb @ stock

Upgrading to a 6970 now

anyways guys i am not sure but it is a bit strange.when i was playing at windows 7 hardcore i think whenever the player passes under water falling from above the structures you can see the splashes of it on the camera screen.
But when i played at xp that was missing.Even it was quite similar to gamer settings.Again i am not sure.

Why just 1440x900 HardCore??

You can easily do 800x600 with:
Core i7 @ 3.675GHz

4gb

5850 1gb @ stock

are you sure about that? then i guess nvidia has a better performance in this game, a friend of mine is maxing the game @ 1980*1080 with a GTX 470...

Yep! Gamer < Advanced < Hard Core.
Correct :P

Actually the performance isn't too good at any setting. I get avg around 40 or so, with lots of 30s and stuff. Could be because of it being online, dunno.

But for me good performance is 50+ FPS and neither a 5850 nor a 470 can deliver that at 1920x1080 Hardcore, perhaps at 1920x1080 Advanced offline, but not Hardcore at full HD. For full HD I would say 10x7 / 14x9 is ideal for such a mid range GPU.

Normally I have noticed that optimal 60 FPS performance is best through Auto Detect which is 10x7 Hardcore in my case. So if I bring it down to Advanced, I can probably raise the rez one or two notches for optimal performance!

Funny how people illegally download an unfinished game because they neither can wait for it to release nor consider buying it but STILL get pissed off and whine about the bugs.

Happened with me too. Was at 8, dropped to 4, levelled up to 5 again :ashamed:

I got inspired from JC's image, so one from me too.

And at JC, too awesome :P

1. GeForce.com - Get the Most Out of Your GPU

GTX 560Ti = 42 fps at Hardcore 1920x1080 which isn't enough according to me. It should be around 55 FPS ideally which even the 570 doesn't really manage. So imo the minimum for 19x10 Hardcore is 570.

2. At 16x10 Hardcore, a 460 just gives barely 40 FPS which isn't enough. A 470 or maybe 560 Ti or 5870 is the bare minimum here at 50+ FPS.

3. For ideal performance, around 60 FPS you need a 560Ti or 470 or 5870 at 1920x1080 advanced. GTX 460 doesn't even give 50 FPS here.

4. Ideal setting for a 460 is 1680 Advanced for about 60 FPS.
