Mayb they should speed up the development and stop playing the game... Its been really long that the devs have been playing and we have been watching!! Please give me the controller now!!

Testing the game is a part of the development and its a beta so the devs arent playing it themselves and wasting time.

Why would they waste their time, actually testing the beta; when there are many morons who are willing to pay [FilePlanet] to waste their time on CryTek's behalf;)

Honestly speaking though, I got fed up with Crysis's teasing a while ago. The pictures and videos were "WOW" In 2005. they were "COOL" in 2006. In 2007, they're just "release the god damn game already" there's only so long, you can get happy for something, before it becomes downright annoying. People have mighty high expectations from Crysis. It's the game that will usher the truly next-gen visuals on PC and what not. Let's hope for CryTek's sake, they deliver it!:)

Sadly, Farcry 2 is looking better than Crysis lol... and I don't mean that from a graphics-perspective, I'm talking about gameplay which is more important ;)

well will only know about the gameplay once we get to play it.

but surely both games are going to fantastic.

I think that's a broad statement on your part to say FarCry2 will have better gameplay. so far all the FC2 videos I've seen look good, but nothing that would make it better than Crysis. the bullet removing mechanism looks interesting but it's incredibly unrealistic, even for a game. Hell, I think it's a broad statement on my part to say Crysis will be better than FarCry2. but you can't deny that some of Crysis's Gameplay features really knock FC2 out (or atleast look to do that anyway). Especially the Nanosuit and the special powers associated with it. and to be frank, when it comes to FPSes, I would take CryTek over Ubisoft Montreal anyday. especially after playing the recent FPS titles released by Ubisoft Montreal (R6 Vegas was disappointing) all of those titleslike lame rush-jobs and/or poor console ports. (something commonly associated with EA) as for Crysis, FarCry was awesome, I don't care how much people rip the game for being hard and whatnot. It was a revolutionary title for it's time and given that, it Still holds it ground when it comes to gameplay and graphics, just proves how awesomely talented CryTek are. In the end though, one can only pass a neutral judgement after playing both titles, FC2 is far way but Crysis is close, so let's focus on that in the meantime :) Oh well, that's enough Crysis-Praising for now;)
 
I'm a fan of both and have been following updates to both games... and I guess time will tell whether we're right or wrong about which game is more addictive. Crysis MP looked great, but let's see how many people will be playing it and for how long... while Crytek made a great game before and they will likely repeat their success, I don't think we'll be playing it a few months after release ;)
 
I am more eagerly waiting for Far Cry 2 than Crysis.... I am sick of stupid monsters and shooting them.... I am not even eager to play Bioshock
