Hello, will Crysis play on 1440 x 900 [WS]????

Please suggest me a suitable setting for playing it on 8600GT :D
 
Crysis is one game that humiliates every GPU out there. Anyways the game does support various WS resolutions, I would suggest that you try it at 1280 x 800 medium settings.
 
yep im currently playing it on all high 1024 2x af or aa dunt remeber...

getting kinda playable frame rates on my 7800gt :P ....wonder hw itll perform witth the 8800gt.. will it be playable on 1680 at all settings set at very high?? dx 9 mode????

Funky of TE plays Crysis with all High (not Very High) 2xAA @1680x1050 on Vista x64 & gets 25-30FPS constant :D

so you should also expect 20-25FPS constant minimum with all High (not Very High) 2xAA @1680x1050 on XP x86 (which you prefer) as you have a E6600 @Stock :)

very high mode is disabled in dx 9 path

there is no such patch, there is a patch for very high settings in XP for crysis, if thats what you are talking about.
 
Hmm.. That means, directX 10 is not available for XP yet... so how can we play Crysis on XP?
 
hmm try playing on high on xp 1024x768 2xAA . Well abhishakesahas u can edit the config files urself to run crysis on very high on xp but i dont think so ur rig can handle very high settings of crysis, im playing crysis on 1440x900 with noAA
very high on xp on my ocz 8800gtx
 
^^Holy Crap!!! Not even close... The place with all snow... My rig ran @ 3.6Ghz with no gfx o'clokd choppy ther...

Humiliation... Now if only a 9800GTX cud do it...

Dont even think of 8600 doin anywher close...

I felt ashamed!!!(of ma card I mean...)
 
well ya , but its very very very very heavy on Vista , so mind you..my 8800GT cudnt handle it , tho it was my proccy and RAM which kinda closed the neck of the bottle :P
