After a lot of hard work the new version is ready. There are a lot of new thing with this version such as the "Remote Viewer" and the "Clean System Memory" and of course the best thing I think for performance is I have cut the memory usage of the program by over 50%. I do need help writing some new help files if anyone wants to help. The auto updater from v1.6.3 will not download this new version. Due to the fact I made some big changes and some files it is best that you download the new setup. You do not need to uninstall the old version, this will install right over it. This way you can keep your stats database. The setup will not overwrite the database. How ever it will overwrite your settings.

Changes to v.2.0.0 :<ul>
  1. Cut down on the programs memory usage by over 50%
  2. Program can now be remotely viewed. User options will be under setting "Remote". A Remote Viewer tool is installed with CS Fire Monitor.
  3. Added new quick tool, “Clean System Memory†The program can now clean all system memory of any leaks and unneeded memory in an instant. This new feature is in both the remote viewer and under the tray icon in quick tools.
  4. Increased performance when updating reports and large lists, by making the lists and reports invisible while updating windows no longer needs to draw the list, thus increasing the speed by 10x. Once the report or list is done it is made visible again.
  5. Memory monitor now tries to detect what banks the memory is installed in along with the size. Thus Bank0/1 is the 1st memory slot and Bank2/3 would be the 2nd memory slot and so forth.
  6. Fixed new setup did not apply default settings for new installs.
  7. Program no longer auto compacts and repairs the database. This gives issues on program shutdown when ran as a service. You can now manually run the compact and repair option from a new shortcut in the start menu.
  8. Fixed bug where you couldn’t change the color for the drive monitor in the graph.
  9. Added new mini monitor to show current real time clock speed of the CPU, due to a lot of new motherboards like ASUS that have a cool & quiet feature which slows the clock speed and also how laptops adjust speed and do to user request this mini monitor will show the current clock speed in real time.
  10. Bandwidth mini monitor tool tip text now shows current totals
  11. Fixed minor shutdown issue when closing the program.
  12. Added more startup options, now when ran as a service you can have it set to always make sure cs fire monitor is running.
  13. Updated screen saver to also show hard drive stats. Also screen saver now moves every 10 sec. instead of 5 for easier reading.
  14. Bandwidth report can now list by day, month or year. This is a good way to check monthly and yearly totals for each connection.

What is CS Fire Monitor?
<ul>
  1. Bandwidth Monitor
The bandwidth monitor detects all connections on the system and monitors the amount of data going to and from each connection. Displaying current send speed and receive speed of each connection. The monitor also stores the amount of data into the stats database. Allowing reports to show how much data has been sent and received for the past year.
  2. CPU Monitor
The CPU monitor detects the current CPU usage of the system. Also detects current speed of the CPU as well as many other facts on the CPU installed. A real time clock speed is part of the monitor to show real time current CPU speed.
  3. Drives Monitor
The drives monitor detects the amount of used, and free space of a selected hard drive. Also gives detailed info for each hard drive and shows total capacity of all hard drives combined.
  4. Hardware Monitor
Shows all hardware ever installed on the system that Windows has kept track of. You should see old hardware that is no longer installed but once was and not uninstalled, along with all current hardware. Also it can track any hardware that has been added or removed. It will then store the changes in the stats database for future reports.
  5. IP Monitor
Monitors your internet IP and/or your local IP. When your IP changes it stores it in the stats database. Also you can enable the email feature under task monitor to email you or a group when the change of a IP address happens sending them the new IP.
  6. Memory Monitor
Monitors physical memory, virtual memory, and Page File. Also shows how many physical memory chips are installed and the size of each.
  7. Netstats Monitor
Only works on Windows XP, 2003 or newer. Shows all current connections on the computer, but also shows which programs are making those connections. This uses a undocumented API call that is only available from XP and above.
  8. Processes Monitor
Shows all running processes and very detailed info on each running process.
  9. Services monitor
Shows all services running on the system. Gives detailed info on each service.
  10. Software Monitor
Monitors all current installed software. Tracks when software is installed or removed and stores the data in the stats database for reports.
  11. Task Monitor
The tasks monitor will be the biggest part of the program as time moves on. Right now the tasks only do 2 things and that is email alerts when your IP address changes. In future updates more and more tasks will be added, a example would be " If this does this then do this". More will be added as per user feedback. If you would like the program to run a tasks when a certain event happens just contact us and we will add it into the program if it isn't already there.
