How do I host a game of CS so that my friends can join it using the net. I tried using the HLDS (dedicated server) but then i wasnt able to join it. Is there some way that i can host it and they can join it.

And if i host without the dedicated sever, can they join. I know how to do it on LAN, but net i have no clue.

Do you have a Live IP?

if not, you all have to join a Hamachi Server, after which you can just do a "New Game" and your friends will see the server in the Server Browser "LAN" Tab..

means do u have a static IP or a dynamic IP hope u got it ..a static ip is permanent and dynamic one keeps changing.

actually it depends on u r ISP ..so which ISP are u subscribed to ?

and hamachi is a small software which installs a virtual network and gives ua virtual ip it works like a messenger thing..and help u to connect to your friend who too has hamachi installed.
