CS: Source or FEAR Combat

i m getting either a *ahem* copy of CS: Source or FEAR Combat for now... i would like to know which is a better multiplayer game of these two. i know FEAR combat is a free MP game but want to try out CS again. all i know is i can't play through Steam using 'the version', but again its low on system resources and its a classic! i need advise selecting between these two or any other that you all think are better than these. thanks :cool2:
 
^^ Hmm, I dont think so, It doesn't have CS: Source.

If you're going with ahem, why dont you try the both.. I personally liked CS
 
Fear Combat is just so dumb , i cant even believe there is a game like that , however being free I cant complain. Cs is definitely an option but if you really looking for fun i would suggest buy the orange box for 999 or 800 at some places and meet us in tf2 servers :)
 
aww common ... no way Fear combat is dumb ... i have the anthology pack and the CSS pack .. but i never play them ... no doubt CS is a revolutionary game .. and CSS takes it to the next level in terms of gfx .. but FEAR is really flexible game with innovative modes like slomoTDM and melee attacks and running around with UA attacks its fun ..i even used to play both games simultaneously :P .. keeping one minimized xD .. it still has around 2500 players playing everyday ... which is just enough to let u find a gud server with sufficient players on them ... if u want a stress busting action packed multiplayer game .. go for fear! .. lemme know if u need any help with it ... i can host a server as well if more ppl join in :) ... btw ... are u restricted by space requirements or what considering that fear is free.
