CSS: best value of cl_crosshairscale ?

What is the BEST VALUE of cl_crosshairscale and other crosshair settings in CSS (no CS or CZ) ?

Is it leagal to use under VAC ?

Oh! one more thing.

My friend who has just AthlonXP 2000 with 512MB with 5200 Graphics card, can he play CSS with Dx7 or Dx8 settings ?
 
Cross hair size is like mouse sensitivity, there is no one size fits all.... its down to personal preference.... experiment and see what you like the most.

Yes its legal under VAC.

And Yes, he should be able to play comfortably in DX7 mode, low~medium settings.
 
Crosshair scale, now its what you prefer.

Some people, who like the go auto a lot, will prefer a bigger crosshair, so a lower crosshair scale. I use 1200, most of the time.

I like 5000, for long shots, the Xhair becomes amazingly tiny ;)... Accurate shots :P.

Crosshairscale of 1200 :) actually i prefer no cross hair at all :) :P

(not actually no, i use 25000 and i love it)
