Hi guys, i am looking to import a benq zowie 24 Gaming monitor,i would like to know to customs duty for these.its a 200usd monitor.

Use Zauba instead of opening a thread for every component, keep in mind that our customs dept., uses a random duty generator algorithm so these rates are applicable only if you're the one carrying the product to India.

They have a tendency to incorrectly assess the value of a product almost always on the higher side when you make an international purchase, instead of referring to the invoice God only knows what source they use to assess its value.
It kinda depends on a variety of factors from whether the guy assessing got laid the previous night or if he just hates your surname.
I myself have been charged 2k for $20 worth of music CD's in the past, it had a printed invoice on the envelope itself and yet they made me pay more because there were no price tags on the jewel case. I could've asked for a re-assessment but at that point of time I just wanted to leave the post office, I think they intentionally target people who are located at a distance to make it cumbersome to the point where the person might opt to pay instead of going through that bureaucracy.
This can of course be avoided if you're carrying the product yourself.
