Hello all,

Cyberpunk 2077 giving AMD Driver Timeout even before playing the game. Please help me in this regard.
I am using RX6600XT GPU with 24.12.1 Driver Version of Adrenalin which is the latest.

Rollback your amd driver to previous version.
run AMD Cleanup Utility in safe mode then install the driver you want after reboot

One of the older versions will be able to run the game

Now no Driver Timeout issue is coming but this below message pops up and the game crashes

1. Delete: REDEngine folder from here %userprofile%\AppData\Local\ CD Projekt Red folder from here: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\ 2. Make sure that DirectX12 shader cache is not corrupted. To do so right-clickon the hard drive where the game is installed. In the General Tab click DiskCleanup and mark the DirectX shadercache tickbox. Unmark any other tickboxesand start the clean-up. 3. Restart your PC and launch the game. See if it helped.

I already tried the above procedure but no success as it still gives me this error

I upgraded from Windows 10 to 11 but did not instal any updated drivers to 11 still using Win 10 drivers. Should I fresh install Win 11 along with its drivers or Should I uninstal all the present drivers and install latest compatible drivers for Win 11 or Win 10 drivers are sufficient for Win 11? Please tell me. Thanks.
Since Cyberpunk 2077 is giving E://r6.release/dev/src/common/gpuapi/src/dx12/gpuapidx12error.cpp(42) error what could be the error?

Why take chance ?
Uninstall completely in safe mode through DDU

Then install your driver. Also block windows from updating drivers. They messed up my integrated AMD driver.

Fresh clean install

1) Run windows in safe mode + run DDU and uninstall amd drivers.

2) Before connecting internet, also disable windows driver updates for your gpu

After installing clean fresh Windows 10 yesterday toady I started Cyberpunk again and it did not crash for an hour but just now it crashed. Same error though.
I installed all the gpu drivers as said above but still it crashed. I dont know what could be the problem? I diasbled overlays, startup programs,anti-virus etc but still it crashed.
UPDATE 1: Again it crashed this time my Radeon driver crashed.
UPDATE 2: Again Cyberpunk flatlined to the desktop.
I think either my gpu or the new update 2.2 is causing the crash.

Just now submitted crash reports to Cyberpunk 2077 team. Need to wait how or when they will resolve the problem.

Hello all,

I uninstalled the latest drivers and installed Adrenalin 23.9.3 which provices support for Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. Changed the V Sync ON in Display Settings of Adrenalin and Changed V Sync OFF in game settings and disabled the HDD settings in game and also changed the cascaded shadow range & distant shadow resolution to low.
Now the game isnt crashing. Able to play for 2 hours straight.

For this to happen I googled Cyberpunk sub-reddit and found the solution.

New Steam database changelog for Cyberpunk 2077 hints at imminent macOS release

Through a Steam database update for Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red may have just hinted at the imminent macOS version release. As surfaced on SteamDB, the new changelog has entries for macOS depots, launch options, and base game support.

It seems that the macOS release is going as planned, as CD Projekt Red has just updated the game's Steam database, adding macOS executable and multiple depots. The depots added seem to be enough to bring support base game and localization options to Macs.
With this change in the Steam database, the launch options have a third entry, specifically for macOS. All these suggest that Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Macs with Apple silicon very soon. Of course, it's still not clear how well the game will run on Apple's systems.

The initial launch of the game wasn't as smooth as expected. As a matter of fact, there were so many issues that made pretty much all gamers say that it was a rushed release. However, with constant updates, the developers have made Cyberpunk 2077 come to a point where gamers often regard it as a must-play title for fans of RPGs.

Hopefully, the macOS release won't be as unstable as the game's initial launch. However, it's unclear whether Cyberpunk 2077 on Apple devices will get as good of a mod support as it has on Windows.

Mine is Adrenalin Drivers messing it and RAM leakage. So I download 24.8.1 version gpu drivers & underclocked my cpu. Mine is a combination of crashing & freezing issues but now after I made the changes its crashing much less not like before.
