Yes but maybe now Gigabyte plans to bring in the full range of their products.
As the Gigabyte products available till now were very few.Not all board models have been available in India.
Also just as a word of Caution-
If possible, stay away from teh cheap Gigabyte boards that are made in India, they have lots of problems.
My dealer was also telling me that there is too much rejection and he plans to stop dealing in those cheap versions of gigabyte.Infact he is very happy with Asrock, has sold nearly 250-400 boards and rejection or faulty pieces were only about 5-10 pieces MAX.
Also it is cheap and performance is good enough, better than Mercury also.

Getting back to the topic,
It would be really nice to see full range of Gigabyte to be available in India,i am particularly interested in checking out their grafix cards.

well darky, their cards are available here. Atleast they were when i checked a couple of months back. The only drawback is thier pricing. The cards were priced on par with Asus cards.. which totally sucks.. when the GF6x00 series were launched and a XFX 9800 Pro was available for 15-17k, Gigabyte 9800 Pro's cost was still around 27k!

Gigabyte cards pricing is a lil high their 6600 GT cost 12.5k IMO worth anyday over XFX. Not to forget they factory oc most of their cards...

..... and ... my dealer mentioned to me the last time I spoke to him that ASROCK are not good and he will not stock them - too many rejections. I think these dealers say whatever they feel like to sell the stuff they have in stock. :@

^^ u n darky are both true.. partly.. Asrock commands some good reputation here too.. i mean their quality is supposed to be better than Mercury/Krypton n all and sells like hot cakes at my dealers' with the regular system assemblers.

And of course, most of the dealers do say stuff to move their stock, but I guess Darky knows his dealer too well to be fooled :)

If Darky's hardware supplier is more "honest and straight in his dealings" then the usual ones then is there any chance of gettng name and contact address ?? :)
