When i try to play COD4 i get d3dx9_34.dll error this error ...

How can i solve this error ???

Install the latest incremental update of directX from here

This works sometimes because the redistributables contain the incremental updates that a game may specifically require.

Try reinstalling ur directX

ok...but the solution to the problem still lies somewhere near a proper n clean reinstall of latest redistributable DX.

a quick fix would be to download the dll separately and put it in your system32 folder.

NOTICE TO ALL 64-BIT USERS::

In 64-bit versions of Windows, 64-bit dll's go into the SYSTEM32 folder. 32-bit dll's go into the SYSWOW64 folder. Make sure you are placing the 64-bit version and 32-bit version of d3dx9_34.dll in their correct respective places!
