In a major relief to movie Buffs , the government Has decided not to Ban Da Vinci Code

An Official "all clear" is expected on Thursday evening after the censor board goes through suggestions from members of catholic community.

The Controversial Film Starring Tom Hanks , based on Dan Brown's Bestselling Novel by the same name, got the go-ahead from the government after a special screening on wednesday !:hap2:

^^ been waiting for this movie for sometime..........hopefully it should live upto the hype and deliver

Censor Board has already passed This Movie without cutting any scenes ! Actually there is No such scene which is really offensive or something... The Only problem was the Holy Grail story which Teabing tells Langdon and sophie ! All This Fuss was about that particular scene ! But That seen is the Most Important scene of the whole film ! The whole Movie is based on that particular scene ! so If They cut that scene , then Really the movie will not make any sense ! So Hopefully we will see the Full uncut version of Da Vinci Code Tommorow ! :)

guys did u see the reviews the movie's getting from cannes... its suupose to be utter crap :P ... one critic was like during a thrilling scene when people were suppose to be scared everyone started laughing :P ... so lets wait and see hw it is now :P...

dunno how TOI announced that... but as per News 10 mins ago... its not confirmed as yet...the christian community has given their report to the ministry as for giving the movie an "A" certificate, and showing a disclaimer at the start and end of the movie of It being a fiction.. and demanded cutting of various scenes..
The final decision will be out only by evening..

I Think those r all biased reviews ! I will give my review after watching the movie tommorow ! Hanks is a big enough reson for me to go and watch any movie !:)

It'll be good for those who have read the novel.

The rest who haven't, at least in India may find themselves at the brink of going to sleep by the interval.

i agree... the movie is suppossed to be slow.. and as for critics in cannes.. they are most probably biased or have to issue wrong statements cause of pressure from the community..

^^ I hope there aren't any demonstrations and violence outside INOX Goa cause the state has a higher Catholic population who are already up in arms against it...

lol.anish,u arent one of them?/:p

baords and posters and stuff put up in theaters guys.tommorow is dday.everyone who is dumb against everyone who isnt.:P
