I have seagate 500GB hdd on Windows 7 32bIt , I want to transfer data from my HDD to my friends WD 500 HDD which has Windows 7 64 bit installed.
I connected the WD (my friends ) HDD after booting up my PC but it was not detected , so i was wondering whether restarting the system would resolve the error without damaging any of the HDD and OS install.
Also i had successfully connected a HDD having 32 bit when my system was powered on
