Ahem...he wants anyone having an unlimited connection to share their username n pass with him, he's a 13 yr old kid who likes to play games but his dad wont allow him to buy game CDs neither will agree for an unlimited connection. So he wants an unlimited dataone connection username n pass to dl games using torrents. Sorry kiddo, no can do :hap5:

just thought abt something:

are the plans mapped to the phone numbers? i mean if i have a 256kbps conn i will get nothing more than 256 right? else i could get usrname pwd of someone with 512kbps conn and start downloading at 512???

if it works then the isp's will end up with only a handfull of customers sharing their connections with their friends.

i bet there r some rules which have been laid down quite firmly in place - like dns servers, ip address, etc

even if some1 gives the kid a usrname pwd he wont be able to use it? it might not even connect since his phone # is different.

am i right or wrong?

^^Even if possible that is illegal to do.That's the excuse given by these companies to either limit the download limit or give lower download speeds for their unlimited plans.

@6 pack.. well triband has such a feature... they have implemented port binding. wherein the username and pass is bound to a particular telephone no... so with mtnl mumbai. even if someone got your no. you wouldnt be able to use it, cause it can only be used onthe line its bound to! ..but i dunno if BSNL has such feature... lol even mtnl delhi doesnt have this feature.. and i hate this feature .. it took away from us something we chrished so much about triband!! lolllllz

Damn!! the asianet 256 unlimited plan only gives consistent 20KBps!!:( :(

thats a bit on the lower side... my friends get about 22~25... what sorta stuff do you download anyway? video torrents with low seeds/peers give low download rates. try an ftp download or something to benchmark your speed :)

it is possible on asianet data limited plans ... since i had the BSNL 1GB... my 325 account was used mostly by my friends, or me when i was at their houses. as long as they had a limited plan too
