TechHead said:^No. The QA varies, AFAIK.
Verbatim>HP=MBI Pro>Edgetec.

I had bad exerience with Edgetec -R media ...... I had some MBI branded -R at same time - the MBI -Rs were much better - but at a higher price.

Eazy said:I was at Lamington road this evening and I picked up some Sony +RW 4x media made in Japan for 100/- each .... I am sure now you guys are going to say "I GOT IT FOR 80/-" ...... Aaaaargh......
The price I was quoted for Verbatim +R Dual media was 425/- this was a first price I am sure if I bargained I could have paid 400/- .... but I have no interest in buying media at these prices.
@TechHead - the people at CDFreaks talk a lot against the Verbatim Made In India media - they say it is the worst of the lot. If the stampers are Verbs then I would think the quality should be better. They have even put up pics of the disks which look like what bottle said about the Edgetec disks - "were spoilt or such with the dye cloudy etc". Its embarrising to read the anti India media feeling at CDFreaks and AfterDawn. I dont see any of the problems they have with MBI media with the disks I buy locally.
