Yup, its true, DBZ is comming back!...I just saw the ad on Cartoon Network (dont ask if I still watch CN, my sister was watching some stupid thing).Anyways...just wanted to let you guys know.This time hopefully they will show more than just Ep 55 of the Ginyu force saga.:)

CN sucks! They'll probably stop showing it midway through whether they have the entire season or not. For whatever reasons, kids don't even like watching the few good shows that somehow do make it on CN. Instead, they'd rather watch the same regurgitated crap they've been showing for over a 1000 times now.

The righteous thing would be for it to appear on Animax instead.

DBZ started off with a bang in India in Cartoon Network (that's when I saw it for the first time though), they went on till Namek-Ginyu Saga, and around Goku vs Vegeta part, they forced it all in hindi down our throats >_<

Cartoon Network is also airing DBZ back in the United States in Toonami. So its about time.

Very true. But I'm pissed off at Animax for not bringing DB to India. We've sent them emails, they've replied back that they will, and nothing's happened yet.

Though, when DBZ was airing in Cartoon Network, it gained a lot of popularity. Though thanks to the internet and bittorrent, and Divx DVd players :P Some of us here have seen the complete series.
 
I hate CN.....too many kiddish and silly cartoons....But if i get more DBZ than last time then that will change.

Animax is nice atleast they're getting Bleach :)
 
They used to "paint out" the punching and stuff. I guess they didnt want the kids to see vegeta getting pummeled by frieza and blood coming and all that stuff.

If CN shows it, its gonna be heavily censored. :|

Better download the 30GB torrent containing all 276 episodes. :P
 
I just saw the promo, shows Vegeta and Goku getting ready before their epic battle in Saiyan Saga.

That means they're not continuing from where they stopped, they'll air through Season 1 all over again. Wonder how many episodes its going to be a day.

And yes, it will be heavily censored, specially Vegeta's fight onwards. If it was the last time they will this time.

But Funimation only translated 276 episodes (in Japanese, there are 291 episodes), and it was a lot censored as well in language as well as nudity and gore/violence (yes, the Indian CN will further even censor the censored). Funimation have started releasing the totally unedited (after 11 years the series is over) version of DBZ. Meaning we'll finally be getting the whole 291 Episodes in English.

The Season 1 and 2 Boxsets have already released, though none of them have made it to torrents nor the Indian stores yet.

After watching that^, nobody will feel like watching the twicely censored Indian version of DBZ :P
 
Lol...true...the DBZ version which will air here will be censored, alot.Something like 5 minutes worth of violent scenes are censored in most episodes.Thank god Iv already seen all the eps, but that was years ago, I wanna watch them again :D
