Yea, i was trying hard to recall whose pm i had deleted. :P

Updated my rig which meant all the info from the old hdd was wiped when i installed the new OS. My sincere apologies.

Let me first check this module and then will report back.
 
Is the 1 stick ram of 512mb still available?

Plz mention the frequency as my older system support only 133Mhz RAM.

The RAM will scale down it's frequency and work at 133MHz.

Q to OP- What are the latency timings?
 
I had inspected the RAM stick myself before i handed it for a second opinion and dismantled my old rig.

The system with that faulty stick just wont boot and gave ticking noise. I understood the stick was gone but just to make sure i gave it out for checking. Will get the dead thing back tomorrow.

Maybe will put up the old rig for sale as well in due time. Got 1 GB DDR1 stick with me and the proccy+mobo wont be doing anything worthwhile.
