CPU/Mobo DDR3 Mobo for my Q6600 ?

I have my q6600 with biostar tp35d2a7 now...

I want to upgrade my board to DDR3 support..

Pls suggest good VFM board...and i am also having 8600GT so no onboard video needed...

It is a DDR2 only P35 chipset board. DDR3 RAM is not mechanically compatible to your system.

I think gigabyte g41 should do it. It has ddr2 as well as ddr3 support.

Do confirm with google for that support. I had this same query too. But then i thought upgrading CPU+mobo+ram overall could be a good idea.
