Deal for ipad 3 4g model

Well was planing to go for lappy but now feeling like its better to wait for windows 8 to launch.Now coming to tablet already have to gift sister one.Was thinking to give some within 30k model than.But now since i also will be using it for most of time now.So planing to get the 64 gb model with 4g.

Planing to use the same with mtnl 3g unlimited plans.

I found a deal on ebay at around 47k.

Apple New iPad 3 64GB 4G + WIFI. Brand New with Warr/Bill. | eBay

So i am bit more sure i can get it for 46k with some coupon than i might be able to get it more cheaper indiviually.In local malls it retails for 50k.

So should i go ahead or can i get it for more bargain price.

I doubt why its cheaper on ebay .Am i missing something?

By the way whats the best price i can get a new ipad 2 64giga with 3g?

I am not aware about the prices but i insisted on iPad 2 only because i was also in similar dilemma a month or so back and when i realized that i did not find any difference between the screen of iPad 2 and iPad 3, i choose iPad2. Also yes you will get Siri (novelty) in iPad 3 with iOS 6 but apart from that i am not sure what more you get and yes offcourse the better screen (which i cannot differentiate).
That's why i vote for saving the money and get iPad 2.

Agree but if i save almost 10k than i might go for ipad 2.But now i see 2 sources where i can source ipad 3 for 47k on net.And nearest ipad 2 similar specs cost 39-40k.

So its still ipad 3 upper hand.

Being future proof also means better re-sale.Like ipod touch 3g missing all important updates and having a 4th generation model would had been worth.Thats the reason.

Anyways finally trinity lappy seems to be here finally here.But again its hp .So again confusion sets in.Looking for some more models to launch .Might than settle for lower range tablet than.

May be wait for few months for the iPad as there is a speculation that a iPad mini will be launched with 7.XX screen size (that is if you are interested in smaller screen). But yes if it your sister's birthday or something coming up then waiting is futile.

Reason for me to wait for windows 8 was i feel now lappy will turn into touch form( i mean tablet lappies).Hence no poin going for 40k plus model.And trinity was nowhere being seen here.
 
On ngpay it cost 50900.It mentioned with promo code it would cost 10% less so 45800.Not a bad deal.But while making payment it shows the original amount.

thats how it works and you get the 10% cash back in 7-10 days to the account you used for making the payment for the order.

That way i doesn't believe.Whats the proof i made payment via this code?They can easily said i never used it.

before purchase you have to register using a valid email id.
once the transaction is successful,the order details will be mailed to you including the info about the cashback.
this is proof of purchase and offer used.

PS- this is my personal experience and also about many others i know who bought from Ngpay.
 
Well does buying from ebay make me to pay octroi.These days on all deals its written buyer might have to face government charges.And i guess in mumbai the biggest disappointment is octroi.

I found a deal on ebay where i might get lattest ipad 3 64 giga for less than 45k .But if octroi applies i might be in bigger mess.

@MAGNeT I have a flat 10% off ebay coupon which could soften the blow for you if needed. ngpay is also a good option

VIvek i too got the coupon.I found a deal worth 49700 and i might get it from ebat at 44700 something.

I am ready with cash but problem lies in fact whether octroi will be applicable to me or not.If it does whole deal will go down the drain.

Its much sweater than ngpay but again octroi matter exist there also.

Its a big purchase and i am sure that might cause issues.So need clarification on it.
 
@MAGNeT, regarding the Octroi confusion, contact the Seller directly & have a word with him. If the seller is good, he will solve your query promptly.
