Deal or no Deal (Iphone 3g 8GB for 12000)

Hi getting Iphone 3g 8 gb (7 Month Old) for 12000 .
Shall i go for it?
Device comes with box & all accessories like headphone , charger, datacable, etc.
Please help on an urgent basis as i m meeting the person in the eve.
 
Yes Its too urgent and somebody suggested me to ask here.

OT

Understand but, in such case you can just PM any mod to move your thread to appropriate section. Opening so many threads with same content in different sections, will invite warning / infraction from Mods / Admin

Its a decent price if the phones condition is good (no scratches)..and confirm the firmware.

If locked and BB 5.14 + then you might lose GPS when you would try to unlock it.

Owner says its unlocked and jailbreaked too.

What is the current price of device?

Iphone 3G sales were discontinued by apple in June 2010, with the release of Iphone 4.

It still retails in India for 20K odd, but I doubt anyone buys a 3G as its 2 generations old and everyones expecting the next iphone in few months.

11-12K is the rate for second hand Iphone 3G (8GB) depending on condition , I sold mine for 11.5K.

Just confirm with the seller if GPS works fine on his handset (It doesnt work for many ppl with the iPad firmware, so you could bargain a little more :))
 
if you like it then its a good deal for you , if you dont and having second thoughts , which you most definitely are , since you are posting here , then dont go ahead :D

Totally agreed. Dont go so for just for an iPhone 3G. The iPhone 3G is ancient, even in terms of hardware. It's like having a CPU of the nokia 5230 levels and a gpu which comes of no use cuz games are coded only for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 right now...

For 12k you can get a brand new android instead, well worth it.
