The thing is KMD works on a different model and no one can compete with him, he delivers on time, with amarbir things are different he is competing with the local dealers which obv. would have a better price because they don't ship to your home.
I would suggest Amarbir if you are making so much of a profit through your shop then its not worth the money or time you spend on TE
.
Also KMD has built up such a reputation that no1 has to think twice before buying from...
From my personal exp. :
I have asked for quotes for atleast 10 different things and bought only 2-3 times from him, even then he responds to my PM the same way. Thats why i transfer the whole amount to his account even before getting the item.

Isnt that true , about both dealers and buyers? each will try to maintain the price they want , and thats what this thread is all about. The buyers seem to be winning at the mo, and till I move higher up the supply chain, i dont see a problem

Amarbir, i think the mods are already doing that . If something seems fishy to them like members operating their business without being registered as a dealer.
We TE members do report such things to MODs and i dont think any of the Mods would be foolish enough to let go off such people and hence the revenue generated from these guys registered as being dealers.
We know that it is unfair for someone to trade without paying the fees while you guys keep on paying but at the same time you must remember that even before you came here we guys were having a lot of these deals going on. They were basically meant to help each other out and not to earn profit.

Amarbir lets consider a scenario for the thrid kind. Suppose a member has initiated a GO for MSI ATI HD 4870 card and he is giving it away for 5.6k with 1 yr warranty but at the same time you are giving a deal with 6.7k price and 2 yr warranty. Now both deals are for same thing but different price and different parameters.
Now if mods close your deal saying that you are charging higher.. then would you like that ??
This example might not completely describe the whole thing but the point is you can't simple close other peoples thread, its going against the idea of having a forum like TE and besides Bill, VAT ,etc are problems that you are facing, even though it might be the right way of doing things but people will always go for the better ( read cheaper) deal.
Just my 2 cents..

Hey ,
To Some Extend This Is Correct Too .Well Is Feedback Not Meant For Such Fruitfull discussion .This Is Exaclty What i Wanted To Find Out ,More Comments Are Requireed ,What Few Members Are Doing Was Targetting Me On Something i Had Not Asked And Called For .
Whats the problem in having both deals running together..ultimately the buyer decides whom to buy it from
why to deprive members for choices
If someone finds a good deal at some retail shop/online which is at a great price...and takes effort to spread it across the forum..he has every right to do it
if some dealer sells the same product...WTH should that member stop the GO so as to benefit a dealer(directly competing) and deprive members of a good deal
Note that 95% of the comp.hardware warranties are provided by service centres...dealers don't provide any special service after selling (except KMD as his business model is diff)
And its for the buyer to decide whether he wants with or without bill / with or without warranty etc...

i have been observing this guy .. amarbir or amar 'chor' bir... very closely from day one he was seen at the other forum.
this guy is a total mess. i wonder why he is still allowed to be a dealer here, although he is already becoming a substantial pain in the a--s--s.
he has so many goof ups and issues on his name in chandigad itself.
i know a lot of my friends who reside in chandigarh and purchased through his so called-scam website LYNX.
most of the time the service is just lame and again the support is bad too.
50 lakhs turnover ... my god ... how did u achieve that with so much badpress associated with your name. god help the buyers incase they need your personal assistance.
i know quite a few dealers in chandigarh who dont even have time to talk with people on phone although their yearly turnover is very less compared to mr.amar-chor-bir.
and this guy here has turnover of 50lakhs and we can see him dancing on TE 24/7.

Amarbir. Just one advice. Dont take every comment as personal. It was directed towards your bussiness model and not towards you. And Dont comment about other forum members it shows how CHEAP are you. Who knows You mayl comment TE in the same way in other forums.
