How about if TE was to close it's market secation. I see a lot of members here complaining TE has changed. It has become more market centric as opposed to a tech forum. Would closing down of the market section solve that problem.

Regarding the dealers, TE staff is already thinking about formulating a policy for the dealers going AWOL.

Yeah, it would be great if TE closed down the market section for a month or so.
Yes i was in too much pressure with work i resigned myself ,I concentrated on business in chandigarh i got more people ,trained them etc etc ,did god work and then i came back ,I am Not still interested in dealership currently as i have a lot of work to do now a days and concentrate on top level management and leave other stuff to people .I still have a lot of work to do ,i think the +1 0 -1 system is best suited for the system ,But as itrader is a VB addon i wonder if Safin can manage this the way many of them wrote here .

These days, i dont recollect any dealer giving out the consignment number for the shipment unless really stressed for it, and most PMs are not replied back

I wish TE puts a strict rule for dealers to transact ONLY through PM mode, for any deals that happens via TE
redirecting to their own portal will cause confusion/complications for members

It was started by Amarbir and we all know how it ended.

Some of the ideas out there are pretty good. I like prashantrana's idea combined with greenhorn's idea. quite a few possibilities are there. I wonder if a panel of reputed members elected by the community can be part of this system to keep a tab and provide necessary important feedback to the admins and mods and take action against dealers going awol, and other issues too.

Edit: i guess giving the panel scrutiny powers, would allow them to be taken seriously. All this in the event that it can be accepted in the format.

I think a 5 point system is better than a three point one.

With three points, either the deal went really good, neutral or really bad but with a 5 point system members will get to know to what extent a deal went good/bad

Not another feedback thread against the dealers. I don't think the dealers would even care to respond.

+1 for that.
How about we create a Panel/Community of members specifically for The Trade Section. This would comprise of members apart from Mods/Support Staff who are online most of the day and have enough time to follow up with dealers on the various aspects mentioned here. They can analyze various trade happening in TE and then identify dealers who arent working within the required parameters set for them This commitee after Identifying the dealer would report the same to the Mods/Admins who would then check the Evidence and take the appropiate action.
This way the Mods/Admins can actually focus on the Tech section of the Forum rather than the Market Section. The other facet of this would be a faster response since this is the First level of Support.

@sato saar i already had a inkling that this would be the reason. I really cant comment on this since i have never faced this issue personally. But i have several dealers step like Itwares, pheonix or even shripad sometimes to sort out warranty issues if the need be. So its really anyones ballgame.

yes i want to know wat dinesh_malhotra did , mods please let it out in the open for all to know ,

i only remeber last time dinesh created a thread himself regarding dell sending collection agents to his place asking him for pending dues running in lakhs
