About the Ep-630, A review says as " Its higher audio range 6 - 23000 hz (most others are in the 20 - 20000 hz range) also contributes to its sound quality. I could hear some part of the music more clearly, which were not pronounced when heard thru other headphones. It also doesn't have the irritating thumping bass that Sony and Sennheiser usually have. So, one hears the natural sound as it was recorded, without making all music like "remixes" with huge thumping bass. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend to anyone who enjoys music." - I think, it is a good one.

^ That frequency range thing in the spec is about the most useless thing you can ever see. Humans hearing range is only between 20Hz - 20Khz, and even that is not always true. As we age, our high frequency hearing starts rolling off (more quickly for men than women) and many can only hear till 15-16 Khz or even just 12 Khz with time. Just because a manufacturer slaps the 'capability' to reproduce 6 - 23000 Hz does not mean one can hear anything "new". To boot with, the recording has to have those ultra-low and ultra-high frequencies and I don't think many of them do (unless it's a true to the last bit recording of this one)

Besides, EP-630 does not have thumping bass, it has muddy bass. Many of the IEMs I own can portray more details than EP-630 are capable of. So, the praise in that review is a little misplaced. It is however, not a "bad" IEM which sounds harsh. EP-630 is good for the low price and is always a good place to start the IEM journey.

PL 11 are now in a new packaging which no longer includes the bi flange tips

I have got one set of PL11 from prime 2 days ago (manufactured on Jan 2011) and other set of PL11 from Pristine note (manufactured May 2011) .. The older pack of PL11's is much better compared to new ones.. The new ones are having very less accessories compared to older PL11 pack... But the sound is really good for a 500/- earphone... The bass is awesome
