I had bought an Intel original D845gvsr (for P4) mobo 6 yrs ago n still running fine:hap2:

Whereas my Asus P5GC-MX (for e2140) has started giving me problems right into its second year (n guys at rashi are pissing me off:mad:)

Now to replace it i've to decide betn Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L and Intel DG31PR?

I m leaning towards the obvious Gigabyte (for overclocking) but my bro wants Intel Original Mobo (for stability or endurance)?

Pls help me decide.

When i bought the Asus (Rock solid heart touching) even i thought it was good to move away from intel but in the long run i m just regreting it. I didnot notice the cost cuttings (small heat sinks n all) that came with it.

Long time gigabyte users can u pls post ur experience with the board and its after sales service.

For all 3, you need to go with the Gigabyte.

gigabyte g31 is an awesome board for it's price, very good for OC too, my e5200 running at 3.5 ghz without any problems.

Giga is not BETTER than Intel as far as build quality and longitivity goes trust me, but still i wud also suggest giga for its overclocking :hap2:
