Deco X20 unable to get full speed

I recently switched from Net gear night hawk router to Deco X20. The main device is set up on the first floor with wired connection and another one on the second floor (without wired).

The problem is we are unable to get full speed on the second device tried couple of settings like disabled QOS, completed Network Optimization but still unable to get full speed on second device.

When I tried giving wired connection to second device from first device, I was able to full speed as usual.

Can you pls provide suggestions if I have missed any settings or must change anything on the device?

Yes, wired backhaul will most definitely give you the full speed. Wireless backhaul will have to share the available bandwidth, I don't think there is a dedicated radio for backhaul on the X20. Secondly as you said, the master room has a known issue with wireless signals in general, could be something blocking the signals from propagating properly.

So if you have existing conduit from the main deco to the master room to pull a cable, by all means go for it, you won't be disappointed.

This thread states that the Deco doesn't have a dedicated wireless backhaul radio. This means there will always be some drop in speed/increase in latency when using wireless backhaul.

Could you tell us the difference in speeds when using wired and wireless backhaul?

From the information you have given us, this is the conclusion I am able to arrive at.

Deco , you cant differentiate 2.4 and 5Ghz . Hopefully you are not running anything b/g band ?
I would switch off all devices which are not 5Ghz then check speeds , then switch on other devices one by one
Slowest device in your network is restricting your speeds . The difference is huge between wired and wireless
80/90Mbps seem to be of 2.4Ghz
AX1800 as per specs
5 GHz: 1201 Mbps (802.11ax)
2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps (802.11ax)
 
So, from your picture, there is no specific network adapter, but looking at your mobo, it seems WiFi 6E compatiable. I'm assuming you have proper antennas and the like. So your pc is not the issue.

You have attached speedtests showing wired and wireless connections to your PC I presume.

What I'd like you to do is
1. Measure speed over WiFi as is. (Decos are connected with each other wirelessly) This is wireless backhaul.
2. Connect the 2 Decos via ethernet cable. This is wired backhaul. Read up on it.
3. Measure speed over WiFi now.

Post these 2 results.

As @kuduku suggested, you might be better off doing this when other wireless devices are disconnected from the network. And yes the speeds seem to be extremely low suggestive of 2.4 GHz.

i didnt read properly , So - Whats the speeds on the PC and phone . If its related to PC only then its PC wireless harware problem . I though these low speeds are for all devices
Above windows specs dont show you network card if you are checking on PC
