This might be a little funny (what it's doing to the US tech and market) but it is also very sad that India is nowhere even in the conversation in this sector. Our oligarchs will simply buy them off the shelves once the Chinese perfect saleable models, and then rebrand them. All our best brains must be chasing green cards in silicon valley and working for the US response to this.

I have heard that it's because of collective nationalism. Sometimes I just wonder what if all the Indian top talent stayed here and contributed to developing awesome techs and companies.
