Defy stuck at Motorola Logo-Help(Urgent)

My brother tried to upgrade to CM ICS from this video when I wasnt there

It seems everything went right till the last step. But now it is stuck at motorola logo during boot up. Please help. Im a noob at this.

How much time its stuck on boot logo? It generally take more time on the first boot.

Seems like a boot loop, remove battery and try to start it again, if it again gets stuck in loop remove battery, start it, boot into Recovery(I hope you know how todo this), reset to factory defaults, clear Cache, clear Davilk Cache and try

You didn't make a backup while flashing ICS ROM

If you have make backup then restore it

I think your phone got brick

This is very common issue. This occurs due to kernel mismatch.

option

1) If back up is made try to retrieve it.

2) Check which Kernal was that ROM made for. Try flashing Gingerbread kernel if it does not work try Froyo kernal.

3) Go to bootloader mode. Install RSD Lite on PC. Flash a Froyo kernal and start from scratch.
